When you are ill, injured or need surgery, we have the tools and the most experienced staff to help you recover.

The inpatient unit staff cares for patients who are making their way toward recovery from illness or injury to return home. The team of caring professionals, led by specially trained registered nurses makes sure that patients receive the hospital services they need including ongoing or nursing care at discharge, rehabilitation services such as speech, physical, or cardiopulmonary rehab, dietary services, pharmacy services, respiratory care services and occupational therapy.

Types of patient care provided:

  • Special Care/Telemetry –For the critically ill who may require intensive monitoring.
  • Acute Care/Medical/Surgical-For patients having an acute illness or injury or who are recovering from surgery.
  • Swing Bed-A short term program designed for people who had an acute problem that is stabilized but are not ready to return home and may need additional services such as rehabilitation or continued IV medications. The purpose is to assist in recovery and rehabilitation and in some cases to provide comfort and pain control for the terminally ill.
  • Hospice Care-Designed to give supportive care to people in the final phase of a terminal illness and focus on comfort and quality of life, rather than cure.
